GH2 provided architectural design services for this 12,500 square foot multi-use Community Center, replacing an aged facility on the same project site. The project is the focal point for the re-development of Centennial Park, located just east of downtown Tulsa. The new facility includes a multi-use auditorium, classrooms, fitness room, catering kitchen, and related support facilities. An outdoor plaza adjacent to the auditorium enhances the capability of the center to host a variety of events. To minimize the building footprint in the future, the structure is designed to expand vertically with the addition of a second floor level. The building was constructed concurrently with a major renovation of Central Park.

The project has been heralded by the client as a "world class public facility" and "one of the best projects undertaken by the City of Tulsa."
